Twentyeight Health Announces Rebrand and New Sexual and Reproductive Telehealth Services

NEW YORK, May 4, 2022 — Twentyeight Health, a telehealth company increasing access to sexual and reproductive care, today announced the company’s rebrand as well as an expansion of its telehealth services. Twentyeight Health now offers prenatal vitamins, in addition to the pill, patch, ring, shot, emergency contraception, and internal condoms (FC2).

“Telehealth shows incredible promise to increase access to high-quality care, but today the primary users of telehealth are affluent individuals living in urban areas,” said Amy Fan, co-founder of Twentyeight Health. “From day one, Twentyeight Health has focused on providing sexual and reproductive care to women from underserved communities. Over the last few years, we’ve shown that building a telehealth company that’s tailored to people who are on Medicaid or uninsured can truly help more people access the care they need.”

Added Bruno Van Tuykom, co-founder of Twentyeight Health “Twentyeight Health has grown into one of the most widely-used telehealth providers of birth control. We believe that everyone deserves to have high quality, dignified, and welcoming healthcare experiences. With today’s rebrand and launch of additional telehealth services, we’re moving one step closer to providing underserved individuals with telehealth and medication delivery services from contraception to menopause.”

Introducing the Twentyeight Health’s new visual identity

Twentyeight Health partnered with New York City creative firm Astronaut Monastery on a rebrand that would reflect Twentyeight Health’s mission to provide affordable, accessible healthcare to all women — regardless of where you are, where you came from, or where you’re going.

The logo is comprised of a playful, sun-like icon formed of dots, subtly referencing the visual shape of birth control pills. The logotype is punctuated by a slanted “i” that suggests a sense of progress.

The Twentyeight color palette includes colors that draw inspiration from nature, including snow, sand, charcoal, sky, coral and peach.

Expanding Twentyeight Health’s telehealth services

Today, Twentyeight Health is announcing that it will be able to prescribe prenatal vitamins, which are recommended for those who are planning to become pregnant. The company also announced that in the next few months it will be able to support individuals with genital warts and with herpes. Twentyeight Health is announcing its rebrand and telehealth services expansion at a time of significant growth for the company. Over the last year, Twentyeight Health expanded across the U.S., now serving more than 85% of women of productive age. The company also launched Spanish language services to reach more of the 57% of Latina women ages 18-34 who have struggled with the cost of prescription birth control, according to Planned Parenthood.
