Telehealth provider for sexual and reproductive care adds marketing and business development leaders

NEW YORK, May 25, 2021 — Twentyeight Health, a telehealth company increasing access to sexual and reproductive care for women from underserved communities, today announced that it has hired new leaders across the company’s marketing and business development departments. Twentyeight Health is excited to welcome Christina Azimi as Director of Marketing, and Dan Cloutier as Head of Business Development

“Even though nearly two million women of reproductive age in the U.S. are living in contraceptive deserts, recent research shows that telehealth services are still accessed primarily by wealthy individuals living in urban areas,” said Amy Fan, co-founder of Twentyeight Health.  “Our expanded marketing and business development teams will play a pivotal role in making sure all women know that Twentyeight Health can provide them with affordable, high-quality telehealth services for birth control — regardless of their health insurance status or income level.”

Twentyeight Health’s new team members are joining the company during a period of significant growth. In May, Twentyeight Health announced that it is now available to women across 20 states, serving over 70% of women of reproductive age in the US. Recently, Twentyeight Health was named one of the top U.S. startups in the the 2021 American Business Awards® for helping women from underserved communities across the U.S. access high-quality and affordable sexual and reproductive care.

“Our newest team members are not only successful individuals in their respective fields, but also share a passion for expanding access to high-quality sexual and reproductive care,” added Bruno Van Tuykom, co-founder of Twentyeight Health. “I look forward to working with them as we launch Twentyeight Health in additional states across the U.S. in 2021, and introduce a number of new types of sexual and reproductive care services.”

Twentyeight Health’s new hires include:

Christina Azimi, Director of Marketing
Azimi is an experienced marketing leader for direct-to-consumer brands. As director of marketing for Twentyeight Health, Azimi will drive organic marketing strategies and best-in-class execution to propel growth.

Prior to joining Twentyeight Health, Azimi led global brand strategy, innovation, and marketing initiatives as director of global marketing for RoC Skincare, and was manager of global skincare marketing for The Estee Lauder Companies. Azimi received her BA from Duke University, and her MS from the University of Virginia.

Dan Cloutier, Head of Business Development
Cloutier brings over a decade of healthcare experience in business development, project management, and management consulting to Twentyeight Health. As Twentyeight Health’s head of business development, Cloutier will continue building and executing strategic partnerships with health plans, providers, nonprofits and other healthcare organizations. Cloutier comes to Twentyeight Health from Omada Health, where he was a key member of the strategy and business development team. Previously, he served as senior manager of strategic partnerships for wearable device company Striiv, and held consulting positions at Accenture and PwC. Cloutier received his Bachelor of Science from Cornell, and his MBA from University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
